Una rama pasó a Valencia, siendo su progenitor Martín A. y Garmendia, natural de la villa de A., por lo que le llamaron así. Su hijo, Juan Martín de A., fué Familiar del Santo Oficio en Valencia, y de éste procedió José Mauro de A., ciudadano de Valencia en 1654. Tuvo este apellido su casa solar en Guipúzcoa.
