Nobility crown AbandaFamiglia di antichissima origine, ascritta al consiglio nobile di Verona fin dal 1279 nella persona di un Bonaventura. Giovanni, nel 1434, Andrea, nel 1445, e Nicola nel 1558, chiarissimi giureconsulti, appartennero al Collegio degli avvocati e dei giudici. Antonio, nel 1451, fu pretore urbano. Daniele e Galeazzo, furono legati a Cornelio, vescovo di Verona e Cardinale nel 1504; e nel 1509 prefetti del Benasco. Il soprannominato Andrea, per aver condotto in moglie una Soncina Martinengo, venne in possesso del castello di Sanguinetto, del quale i di lui figli furono costituiti Conti della Repub. Veneta. Fu costume, infatti, delle più antiche famiglie, le quali dopo la caduta del Romano Impero, in quella "inondatione de' Barbari", avendo i loro cognomi, così come i loro beni, smarrito, e restati solo con semplici nomi, trarre di nuovo i loro cognomi,dai nomi dei propri paterni, e dei maggiori. ...
