Nobility crown AbeciaEste linaje es originario del lugar de A. (cuyo nombre tomó), del Ayuntamiento de Urcabustaiz y partido judicial de Amurrio (Álava). Tuvo ramas en el lugar de Apricano, del Ayuntamiento de Cuartango y partido de Vitoria; en la villa de Izarra, del Ayuntamiento de Urcabustaiz, que pasó al lugar de Marquina y villa de Domaiquia, del Valle de Zuya, y en la villa de Berganzo, del partido de Laguardia, que también pasó al lugar de Mijancas y a la villa de Ocio, en el mismo partido de Laguardia. Individuos de estas ramas alcanzaron Reales provisiones de hidalguía en la Chancillería de Valladolid, y en sus respectivos expedientes constan sus genealogías. El estudio del escudo heráldico familiar nos "habla" de quienes formaron el origen de la familia A., pues esa era su función, la de manifestar a los demás sus elementos diferenciales, pues la inclusión del elemento caldera es el símbolo de la grandeza.
