Da Milano andò a Pisa, la famiglia, per discordie avute con le famiglie Lavelli ed Abaguzzani. Passò in Sicilia nel 1300 da Pisa, ove era una delle prime famiglie. Ha goduto nobiltà nelle città di Milano, Palermo, Pisa, Noto, ed in Grecia. Fu ricevuta nell'ordine di Malta nel 1530. Si vedono, inoltre, monumenti di essa in Palermo nelle chiese di S.
