Nobility crown AlamelOn trouve le nom de cette maison diversement écrit Alamel ou Allamel. Ancienne famille du Vivarais qui prouve sa filiation depuis Gonin, notaire à Largentière en 1487. François-Etienne, conseigneur de Saint-Alban, épousa le 21 novembre 1546, Antoinette de Bonhomme, fille à feu Simon Bonhomme de Bagnols. Il fut assistè par son cousin Claude, notaire à Largentière. Cette maison dès le début du XVIème siècle posséda les conseigneuries de Saint-Alban, de Trebuols, du Fez, de Planzolles et Saint-André-Lachamp. Au VIème siècle degré jean, sieur de Laval puis de Bournet par sa femme épousa,le 6 février 1690, Catherine Chabaud, demoiselle de Bournet, fille de Joachim Chabaud, sieur de Bournet et de Catherine Privat. Cette ancienne maison s'allia aux meilleures familles du Vivarais et des pays voisins; donna de nombreux officiers à l'armée et un R.P. Jésuitte, missionnaire. Jean-Louis, sieur de Valoubière, Sauvage etc., fit vérifier ses titres de noblesse par les commissaires de l'assemblée de Villeneuve-de-Berg où il fut admis le 27 mars 1789 et dont il fut secrétaire et rédacteur. Il fit ensuite partie du camp de Jalez; à sa dispersion il passa à Lyon, se réunit aux défenseurs de la ville assiégée par les républicains; condamné à mort par le tribunal révolutionnaire, il fut exécuté le même jour 16 mars 1794 sur la place de La liberté avec huit autres victimes. De nos jours cette maison, est honorablement représentée dans le Vivarais par M. Arsène et son fils Edouard de Bournet habitant au château de Bournet. ...
