En Vizcaya creó casas en Arratia, Zaldivar y Gordejuela, y dió nombre a una de las barriadas o parroquianías del Valle de Orozco. En Álava moró una familia A., en Amurrio. En Navarra tuvo casas en las villas de Aranarache, Abarzuza y Améscoa, del partido judicial de Estella. De la de la villa de Aranarache dimanó la casa guipuzcoana de Albisu, sita en la villa de Astigarreta, del partido judicial de Azpéitia, con rama en esta villa de Azpéitia. Juan de Albisu era vecino de Lazcano en 1399, y Martín de Albisu, de Zaldivia en 1693. Juan de Albisu probó su hidalguía ante la Justicia ordinaria de San Sebastián en 1658; Francisco Ignacio de Albisu lo hizo en Azpéitia en 1758, y Juan de Albisu en la misma villa en 1727. Joaquín de Albisu fué primer Piloto de la Real Armada, hijo de José de Albisu y de doña Ana Teresa de Echenique, y nieto de Joaquín de Albisu y de doña Polonia de Mancisidor. Como descendiente del solar de Albisu, en Astigarreta, probó su hidalguía ante la Justicia ordinaria de Cestona, en 1771. Pedro, Sebastián, José y Martín de Albisu y Juan García Albisu y Ernazola, lo hizieron en Villafranca de Oria, los cuatro primeros en 1675, y el último, con sus hijos, en 1708. Y José de Albisu y Azcona hizo igual probanza, en la villa de Idiazábal, en 1776. ...
