Nobreza: Nobles - Coseigneurs - Lords
heráldica da família: Ales
Coroa de nobreza Ales Ancient and very noble French family, which has spread, throughout the ages, in different regions of Europe, particularly in Southern Italy. The nobility of the family is clearly confirmed by its presence in the valuable works "Teatro della nobiltà del mondo del sig. dottore don Filadelfo Mugnos", published in Naples in 1680, in three volumes, and in the "Armorial Général" of the dutch heraldist and genealogist JB Rietstap (12 May 1828–24 December 1891), a monumental work that contains the blazons of the coats of arms of more than 130,000 European families. Moreover, the family has had the following titles: "coseigneurs"... Continua

of Montfaucon du Velay, lords of Alès, of Vazeilhes, of la Bruyère-Vériliac, of Sauzet. A Blaise, living in 1510, was the father of Claude, royal judge of Velay and Lieutenant General of the bailiff (1522-1559), who made an inquiry regarding the malpractices committed by the officers of the bishop against the inhabitants of the commandment of Bonnas. Blaise II (1568), consul of Montfaucon, lord of Rochepaule, married Christine of Serpens, daughter of Jean and Mary Loudes. Jean, their son, coseigneur of Montfaucon, died in 1606. Other Jean, lord of Sauzey, married, in 1644, Anna Terrace Chabanoles. The family also gave birth to two canons of Notre Dame du Puy. Another branch of the family had the title of lords of la Valette-Les-Chadron and of la Tour-Daniel. A Bearaud, lord of la Tour-Daniel and la Valette, flourished in 1510. A Charles was captain of the Castle of Solignac in 1589 and lieutenant of cavalry. Family names so old, without any doubt honor not only families but also the cities that welcomed them; seems to be, in fact, very worthy the living members of this family which, with much decorum, carry this noble surname, which has had several illustrious members.
