Casa solariega notoria en el Concejo de San Salvador del Valle, del partido judicial de Valmaseda (Vizcaya). De ella procedió Pedro del A., esposo de doña Manuela Ugarte, y ambos padres de Domingo de A. y Ugarte, bautizado en San Jorge de Santurce, el 13 de Octubre de 1680, que casó con doña María de Cavieces, a la que hizo madre de José de A. y Cavieces, bautizado en la misma iglesia el 14 de Septiembre de 1709. Contrajo matrimonio con doña María Asunción de las Carreras, y fueron padres de Francisco Esteban del A. y de las Carreras, que sigue, y Juan José del A. y de las Carreras, vecino del Concejo de Santurce donde desempeñaba los cargos correspondientes a los hijosdalgo. Francisco Esteban del A. y de las Carreras, bautizada en San Jorge de Santurce el 3 de Agosto de 1762, casó con doña Jenara Eustaquia Carnicero, y pasó a desempeñar en Palencia el cargo de Suboficial Mayor de la Administración General de Rentas Reales. Procreó estos cuatro hijos: Esteban María del A. y Carnicero, bautizado en Palencia el 3 de Agosto de 1802. Luis Ginés del A. y Carnicero, bautizado el 27 de Agosto de 1807. Manuel del A. y Carnicero, bautizado el 22 de Septiembre de 1808, y Juan de la Cruz del A. y Carnicero, bautizado el 27 de Julio de 1815. Dicho Francisco Esteban del A. y de las Carreras, incoó expediente de vizcainía en la Chancillería de Valladolid y ganó Real provisión, el 27 de Julio de 1815. ...
