Orbea y Salazar, hijo segundo de Don Francisco de A., Señor de esta Casa Solariega, Infanzona de armas pintar, y de Doña María Ruiz de Urruela, su legítima mujer; nieto paterno de Juan de A. Orbea y Salazar, Señor y pariente Mayor de la Casa y Alcalde ordinario de Álava. La Casa Torre y Solar de A. es una de las más antiguas e ilustres de la provincia de Álava, perteneciente al famoso bando oñacino, de los dos en que se dividía la Nobleza de aquel país desde remotísimos tiempos. Don Juan de A., se estableció en la ciudad del Real de Las Palmas, donde casó con Doña Francisca de Urúspuru Cairasco y Mireles, hija de Martín de Mireles Cairasco de Urúspuru y de Doña Isabel Méndez de Sosa. De este enlace nació el Doctor Don Domingo de A. Orbea Salazar y Urúspuru, Dignidad de Arcediano Titular de la Gran Canaria, Provisor y Vicario general del Obispado, que falleció en Las Palmas el 25 de septiembre de 1692, habiendo fundado el Mayorazgo de esta Casa en sus tres sobrinos Don Juan, Don Salvador y Doña María Luisa de la Trinidad, hijos de su hermano Don Roque de A. y de Doña Isabel Muñoz. Doña María Luisa de la Trinidad, casó con Don Cristóbal Diego Verdugo Bermúdez Martínez, hijo segundo del Corregidor Don Alonso, el 8 de enero de 1673 en Sevilla, cuando solo contaba catorce años de edad. ...
