Do seu casamento com sua parente D. Brites da Fonseca foi filho 2º, mas suc.or., Nicolau de Andrada Freire, que viveu em Vila Viçosa ao seviço da Casa de Bragança e foi alcaide-mór de Portel e comendador de Monsaraz, tendo casado com D, Isabel de Brito, filha de António de Brito e mulher D. Isabel Freire (filha esta de Rui Freire de Andrade e sua mulher Inès Raposa). De Nicolau de Andrada Freire e sua mulher D. Isabel de Brito foi filho Manuel de Andrada de Brito que também serviu a casa de Bragança, sendo fidalgo do duque D. João II (futuro Rei D. João IV), comendador da o. de Cristo e alcaide-mór de Portel, tendo sido baptizado na Matriz de Vila Viçosa a 8.3.1574. Do seu casamento com D. Joana da Silveira de Azevedo, filha de Jorge Godinho, foi filho Jorge de Brito de Andrada (que veio a ser herd.º pelo fal. s. g. de seu irmão primogénito Francisco) que também serviu a Casa de Bragança, e foi um dos fidalgos que acompanharam o infante D. Duarte (irmão de D. João IV) na primeira jornada que fez à Alemanha, tendo casado em Olivença com D. Maria Vasques Sardinha, filha de Fernando Gil Sardinha e mulher Maria Lourenço Miguens.
