En Italia. Familia muy noble, entroncada con la gran casa castellana de Ávalos o Dávalos. Bernardo Gaspar de A., sexto Conde de Loreto, fué primer Marqués de Pescara, cuyo título se le concedió el año de 1412. Casó este caballero con doña Beatriz Gaetano y Ursino, y fueron padres de Francisco Antonio de A., segundo de Marqués de Pescara, que murió sin sucesión, y Antonela o Antonia de A., que sigue. Esta Antonela o Antonia de A. sucedió en su casa por muerte de su hermano, y fué tercera Marquesa de Pescara, título que llevó a la gran casa castellana de Dávalos por su matrimonio con Íñigo Dávalos (hijo del Condestable de Castilla Ruy López Dávalos), a quien el Rey Don Alfonso de Nápoles nombró gran Camarlengo del Reino.
