Nobility crown BergeraDerivata da un Bartolomeo Marcoando detto Bergerio, di famiglia nobile e principale in Moncalieri, vivente nel 1345. Uno de' suoi discendenti Biagio, avendo sposato Antonietta Opezzi da Vigone, vedova di Giovanni-Orazio Pertuzio consignore di Villarbasse, da lei ebbe questa signoria. Carlo-Francesco, investito di Villarbasse nel 1650, fu maresciallo delle guardie di corazze del Duca di Savoja e Cavaliere Mauriziano; Francesco-Aleramo, avendo sposato Catterina del conte Biagio Sola di Piobesi, ne ereditò questa signoria, della quale fu investito nel 1726; Palo, suo nipote ex-figlio, ebbe il titolo di conte sul feudo di Villarbasse. Ultimo di questa famiglia fu Francesco-Saverio morto nel 1815. Motto della famiglia: Fata sig vogant. Altro ramo. Ebbero signoria su Marene, Cavallerleone, Cly e Villarbazze. Marcantonio referendario e consigliere di Stato; Giulio Cesare Arciv. di Torino nel 1642; Carlo Giuseppe nel 1645 ottenne la dignità comitale sul feudo di Cavallerleone; e Giacomo Antonio nel 1655 fu primo presidente ...
