Nobility crown BoisAncienne famille originaire du Velay. Bertrand, prêtre, est cité dans le testament de Guillaume de Saint-Paul comme son exécuteur testamentaire le 2 sept. 1277. Catherine, était religieuse du monastère de Vorey en 1331 et Aymar, chanoine-comte de Brioude en 1350. Noble Pierre, damoiseau, bailli de la baronnie de Roche-en-Régnier (31 août 1398), paraît s'identifier avec noble Pierre, seigneur de Mollet, près Allègre, le 28 nov. 1397. Après lui, on trouve: Jacob (1425), probablement frère de noble Jean qualifié chevalier (1430), lequel eut entre autres enfants: Antoine, marié à Catherine de Bonnas avant 1442, d'où: Gaspard seigneur de Conche (1478), allié à Clauda de Bonlieu et père de: 1° Bernard, frère des Augustins de St-Antoine-de-Vienne; 2° noble Claude , seigneur de Conche et de St-Christophe-sur-Dolaison (1490-1493). A peu près à la même époque paraît: noble Aymar, bailli de Villars, témoin dès 1465, du mariage de Jacques II de Tournon avec Jeanne de Polignac. Des capitaines pendant la Ligue; noble Gabriel était capitaine du château d'Allègre en 1581. On rencontre dès la seconde moitié du XVI siècle en Dauphiné, une famille de robe du même nom, très distinguée, vennue du Languedoc et établie à Grenoble en 1614, où elle à donné: uun célèbre jurisconsulte décédé en 1671; des chanoines de la cathédrale de cette ville; des avocats et conseillers au Parlement; plusieurs officiers, chevaliers de St-Louis. ...
