Originaria di Mantova, e stabilita in Milano fin dal principio del secolo XIV. Nella cruenta bataglia di Parabiago Lodrisio Visconti, bandito da MIlano pe mene e congiure, nell'intento di rucuperare il perduto contado di Seprio e fors'anche conquistare il dominio di Milano, stava raggruppando nei pressi di Parabiago, bande armate allettate dal sacco della città loro promesso. Azzone Visconti signore di Milano ammalatosi, affidò l'esercito milanese allo zio Luchino affinchè assalisse Lodrisio prima che radunasse gli aiuti in arrivo, e sconfiggerlo. Recatosi sul luogo, il 21 febbraio 1339 aggredì tra neve e vento gelido il congiunto che non attendeva altro; lo scontro si protrasse a lungo con alterne vicende, tra cui la cattura di Luchino stesso subito liberato dalla controffensiva, che si risolse colla vittoria dei milanesi scongiurando così alla città il paventato saccheggio.
