De Francia vino a España Felipe de C., señor de Luttange, Veimberg, Chel-Kirns, Guelange, Maney, Telange, Rexange y Cons, que entró al servicio de nuestros reyes en las reales guardias walonas, de cuyo cuerpo fue teniente coronel, y habiendo ascendido de grado en grado hasta el de teniente general, desempeñó los altos puestos de capitán general de Cataluña y de presidente de su Real Audiencia. De la misma familia dimanó la rama que se estableció en Solsona (Lérida), y de la que fue José de C., natural de Solsona, que casó con doña María Riera, de la misma naturaleza, y fueron padres de Segismundo de C., natural de Solsona, que de su esposa doña Margarita Coma, nacida en la misma ciudad tuvo a Mario de C., natural de Solsona, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Josefa Escoffet, natural de Barcelona, naciendo de esa unión José Mariano de C. y Escofet, natural de Solsona, regidor perpetuo de Barcelona, maestrante de Ronda y caballero de la Orden de Carlos III, en la que ingresó el 27 de mayo de 1818. ...
