Famiglia decurionale di Como. Il primo noto è un Giovanni Angelo, il cui abiatico Vincenzo, banchiere, il 13 novembre 1652 fu investito del feudo di Cero e di S. Vittore. Fu questi padre di Carlo (dec. 1694), eletto vescovo di Alessandria nel 1660, translato alla sede episcopale di Como nel 1680 e 6 anni dopo decorato della porpora cardinalizia, e di Alessandro, giureconsulto collegiato e decurione, al cui figlio Vincenzo (1647-1709) fu concesso da re Carlo II, con diploma 27 novembre 1672, il titolo di conte con trasmissione primogeniale mascolina, titlo che fu appoggiato al detto feudo.
