Cette famille envoya deux de ses membres aux assemblées de la noblesse en 1789, et fournit plusieurs chevaliers de Saint-Louis. Alliances avec les familles de Piquet, de Signier, de Seguin, de Veteris, de Vitalis, de Villeneuve, de Garnier Julhians, de Martin, de Fresnay de Toulon, de Fulconis, etc. On trouve plus tard sous ce nom: M. de Cuers, agent du service des dépêches sur les paquebots. L'abbé de Cuers. A ce nom, on attribue un signe distinctif de noblesse représenté par le blason que l'on a reproduit ci-contre et qui confirme aussi à travers ses emblêmes, au point de vue historique et héraldique la certitude d'une valeur remarquable.
