Nobility crown De-CombesEl establecimiento en España de la ilustre y antigua familia de De-Combes o Bonnet de Combes es relativamente moderno. Cuatro generaciones no más españolas se cuentan de ella. Procede de Aubenas, departamento de Ardeche, y en la Historia de Francia, bien aparecen señalados no pocos de sus hijos. En las Cruzadas ya figuraron. Carlos Bonnet de Combes y de David, primero que se firmó De-Combes, segundo de su casa y primogénito después, por morir sin posteridad el mayor de sus hermanos (el Coronel Francisco de David de Combes, Brigadier de la Guadia de Corps del Rey de Francia), cruzó la frontera en unión de M. de Calonge al surgir en su país las revueltas de 1789 y previas las pruebas necesarias, ingresó en el Real Cuerpo de Guardias de Corps de Su Majestad Católica. Fué hijo de M. Francisco Bonnet de Combes y Veycente de Lavalette, Conde y alto y poderoso Señor de Combes de Tine y Coronel del regimiento de Caballería de Borgoña durante el régimen monárquico, y de madame Carlota de David y de Tranchant; nieto paterno de M. Carlos Luis Bonnet, Señor de Descombes y de madame María Juana Veycent de Lavalet, y nieto materno de M. Segismundo de David, Barón de David, Brigadier y Coronel de un regimiento de Húsares de su nombre, Gentilhombre de Cámara del Rey de Francia, caballero de la Orden de San Luis, natural de Hungría, de donde pasó a servir al Rey de Francia en 1712, y de Ana María de Tranchant. ...
