Famille consulaire du Puy dont le nom était anciennement écrit Licques et Delicques. On trouve sous ce nom: Mathieu (1475); Jean, 5ème consul de cette ville (1496); Guyot, marchand, 4ème consul (1515); Pierre, chanoine de Notre Dame du Puy (1514); Jacques, marchand, 3ème consul (1554). Jacques, 2ème consul en 1513, avait été chargé en 1560, par les Etats du Velay, d'aller recouvrer à Narbonne les fournitures faites pour l'armée. Guillaume, seigneur de Chambaron, fils de Guyot et de Françoise Montagnac (1548), laissa de Louise de Thorrenc: Hélix mariée le 25 août 1570 à Hugues de Coubladour Montréal. Jacques, bourgeois, était administrateur séquestre des biens de la vicomté de Polignac en 1566. Il exerça les fonctions de première consul du Puy en 1568 et 1576. Guy, député par le bailliage du Velay aux Etats de Blois (1576), premier consul en 1595, devint seigneur de Ferraignhe par suite d'acquisition de cette terre, en 1586, à Louis d'Albiat, héritier des d'Espaly. Noble François, écuyer, seigneur de Ferraignhe, Jean-Pierre, seigneur de Rochalbert et de Chaussiac, docteur et avocat la sénéchaussée du Puy, inscrit dans d'Hozier et Jean-Paul, seigneur de Nirande, vivaient noblement de 1664 à 1699, Gabriel seigneur de Ferraignhe, fut porteur de la procuration du baron de Beaudiner aux Etats du Velay de 1692. Il fit enregistrer en 1696, ses armoiries dans d'Hozier et s'allia à Laurence Johanny de Marminhac. Leur fils Gabriel-Antoine, laissa entre autres de Marie Roche (fille de Jean-François et de Philippe Paul): Gabriel, premier consul du Puy en 1784. Cette famille a été convoquée en 1789 à l'assemblèe de la noblesse du Velay. Un de ses membres est porté sur la liste des émigrés de la Haute-Loire. ...
