Famiglia di Barcellona un cui ramo si trasferì in Sardegna nel secolo XIV. Nel 1327 un Raimondo ottenne alcuni piccoli feudi, nel 1331 ebbe le signorie di Cepolla e San Vetrano nel territorio di Cagliari e quelle di Samassi e Barrali. Alcuni anni dopo però Raimondo dovette rendere al fisco Cepolla e San Vetrano perchè incluse nel territorio urbano di Cagliari. Morì nel 1339 e gli successe suo figlio Bernardo che morì senza eredi per cui gli altri feudi furono incamerati dal fisco. L'altro dei suoi figli, Raimondo, nel 1437 acquistò le signorie di Mandas, Nurri ed Escolca che però nel 1350 gli furono tolte per essere date a Giovanni Carroz; egli comunque ottenne il diritto di risarcimento delle somme versate per l'acquisto di quei feudi.
