Dal 1573 appartenne essa anche al Consiglio nobile di Verona, ed ottenne la conferma dell'avita sua nobiltà con sov. risoluz. del 4 Giu. 1820. Arme Spaccato; di rosso, ad una crocetta patente d'argento; e di nero, ad una mano destra appalmata di carnagione, posta in palo; con la fascia d'azzurro, caricata di tre stelle d'oro e attraversante sullo spaccato. Le famiglie forastiere, le quali dopo il 1420 vennero ad abitare in Verona, e che, avendo possedimenti in città o nel territorio, faceansi inscrivere nel campione dell'estimo, quantunque molte tra loro fossero d'origine illustre, pure salvo qualche caso non venivano aggregate al Nobile Consiglio se non dopo un mezzo secolo ed altre dopo cent'anni, e fin dugento, ed anche più. Quelle che fossero state nobili, appena erano ammesse al Consiglio, divenivano tali. Ma non è da credere che tutte abbiano acquistato la nobiltà nell'anno, in cui cominciarono ad appartenergli; parecchie di loro erano eran già nobili prima dell'esserci ascritte. ...
