Nobility crown Dondonini BassaniFamiglia antica che sin dal 1546 era stata dalla Repubblica Veneta; regnante il Doge Francesco Donà, non solamente nobilitata, ma ben anche decorata del titolo Comitale in premio dei servigi resi allo Stato. Dal 1573 questa Famiglia appartenne anche al Consiglio nobile di Verona ora cessato. Ottenne la conferma dell'avìta sua nobiltà con Sovrana Risoluzione 4 giugno 1820. Leopoldo Angelo del fu Giuseppe, e della nobil sig. Laura Morosini, nato il 12 giugno 1766, ammogliatosi il 10 ottobre 1789 colla nobil sig. Elisabetta Erbisti. Morto il 21 aprile 1828. Fu costume delle più antiche famiglie, le quali dopo la caduta del Romano Imperio, in quella inondatione de' Barbari, havendo i loro cognomi, sicome gli studi, e altre cose belle smarrito e restati solo con semplici nomi, trarre di nuovo i loro cognomi, e il loro casato da' nomi proprii paterni, e de' maggiori. ...
