Pedro Vitales manifiesta que este apellido es patronímico porque se deriva del nombre propio Félix. Desde luego, es linaje de buenos hijosdalgo y caballeros de Aragón. Uno de éstos, llamado Alonso F., pasó a Murcia y se distinguió mucho en la batalla de Muladar; y entre los pobladores de la ciudad de Lorca figuró otro caballero del mismo apellido, que dejó allí sucesores. Cuando la gente del Conde de Fox entró en Aragón y puso cerco al castillo de la villa de Tiermas, del partido judicial de Sos (Zaragoza), en 1398, figuró entre los caballeros que fueron en socorro de la citada fortaleza, Pedro Fernández de F. Nicolau F., hijodalgo, asistió a las Cortes de 1495 y fué llamado por el Rey Don Fernando a las de 1515. A estas mismas Cortes asistió también Pedro F., que era hijodalgo. En Huesca radicó una importante rama de F. Juan F., vecino de Épila (Zaragoza), era Inquisidor infanzón en 1584. De la rama de la ciudad de Lorca fué Ginés F. de Alisen, natural de Lorca, que fué el que obtuvo la certificación de armas. Casó con doña Isabel de Guevara, de igual naturaleza, y fueron padres de Martín F. Guevara, natural de Lorca, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Isabel Montijo, natural de Murcia, y tuvieron por hijo a José F. Montijo, natural de Murcia y caballero de la Orden de Santiago, con fecha 10 de Enero de 1686. ...
