Martín G. de Arteche, natural de Bernagoitia, casó con doña María Ormendo, a la que hizo madre de José G. de Arteche y Ormendo, natural de Bernagoitia, marido de doña Casilda de Oceta, y ambos padres de Francisco G. de Arteche y Oceta, natural de Bernagoitia, que se unió en matrimonio con doña Juana de Arteche, naciendo de ese enlace Pedro G. de Arteche y Arteche, que en su mujer, doña Catalina Rubio Barrenengoa, tuvo a Juan G. de Arteche y Rubio de Barrenengoa, natural, como su padre, de Bernagoitia, que casó con doña María Fernández, procrearon a Francisco G. de Arteche y Fernández, que nació en Cordovín, villa del partido judicial de Nájera (Logroño), y fué bautizado el 5 de Mayo de 1645. Tuvo por esposa a doña Agueda Gómez del Río, y en ella procreó Francisco G. de Arteche y Gómez del Río, bautizado en la villa de Alesanco, del mismo partido judicial de Nájera, el 15 de Febrero de 1695. Se avecindó en la villa de Azofra, en el mismo partido judicial de Nájera, y pretendió incoar expediente ordinario de vizcainía; pero tropezó con la oposición del Concejo y del Fiscal, por lo tuvo que litigar hasta alcanzar sentencias a su favor del Juez Mayor y de los Oídores de la Real Chancillería de Valladolid. Sacó Real carta ejecutoria el 29 de Marzo de 1775. Contrajo matrimonio con doña Teresa de Pablo, y fueron padres de Manuel G. de Arteche y de Pablo, bautizado en la villa de Azofra. ...
