Foi seu filho Soeiro Dias G., casado com D. Inês Garcia de Seabra, pais de Pedro Garcia G., senhor de Santa Marta de Ortigueira, e casado com D. Teresa Nunes Maldonado, irmã de D. Ermesenda Nunes Maldonado, mulher de D. Paio Mendes de Soutomaior. Tiveram diversos filhos: João Peres G., morto no ano de 1268, casado com D. Maria Tenório, e progenitor dos Fajardos; D. Fernão Peres G., mestre da Ordem de Alcântara, falecido em 1296; Estêvão Peres G.; D. Estefânia Peres G., mulher de D. Pedro Fernandes de Trava, pais de D. Gonçalo Peres, mestre de Alcântara, morto no ano de 1312; D. Inês Peres, casado com Pedro Anes Redondo, com geração; D. Sancha Peres, freira, e D. Maior Peres Galego, que se recebeu com Fernão Aires de Meira, senhor da Casa de Meira, na Galiza. Não se conhece a ligação destes primeiros Galegos com os que houve posteriormente. Afonso G. de Andrade, fidalgo galego e primo coirmão do Conde de Ourém, João Fernandes Andeiro, passou a Portugal, casando-se com D. Maria Anes Ribeira, irmã de D. Maria de Sousa, mulher do primeiro conde de Marialva. D. Vasco Fernandes Coutinho, teve geração que em breve abandonou o apelido de G. e seguiu o apelido Galego e seguiu o de Andrade. João G., que também era dos de Ortigueira, teve por filha a Leonor Fernandes G., casada nobremente em Olivença com Francisco de Magalhães Cabeça de Vaca. ...
