Etienne, député du Tiers etat au x Etats Généraux du Royaume, fut anobli en 1652. M. de Jansac parait aux Etats Généraux en 1788-89. C'est à lui que Rivoire de La Bâtie attribue ces armes. Le marquis Louis de Jansac qui était né en 1733, se maria à Saint-Pèray avec Mademoiselle Charlotte-Joséphe de Josserand de La Garde, de Golbert, fille de feu Gabriel, et de dame Françoise des Mazet. Le contrat fut reçu par Messire Tracol, notaire à Saint-Péray, le 12 février 1774, où figure noble Pierre-Olivier de Vincent de Mazade, ancie officier de cavalerie, seigneur de Meyres, mandataire de Madame Elisabeth-Magdeleine Lucrèce de Gilbert, veuve de messire du Perlay, tante et marraine du fiancé. Le marquis de jansac vendit le château de Châteaudouble qu'il possédait en Dauphiné, vint habiter Valence, puis Tournon. Dans un acte reçu, messire Rivoire, notaire à Tournon, le 29 juin 1790, contenant vente par Mademoiselle Marguerite de La Garde à J.-J. Ponton du domaine appelé La Chava, situé dans les communes de saint-ROmain de l'Air et Saint-Péray, il est dit que l'acte est passé à Tournon dans l'hôtel dudit seigneur de Jansac où il mourut le 16 janvier 1809. De leur mariage naquirent trois enfants, un fils et deux filles. Le fils Séraphin, marquis de Jansac, ancien chef d'escadron de Hussards, chevalier de Saint-Louis, de Saint-Ferdinand d'Espagne, mourut à Paris, sans posterité, en 1840. La fille aînée Gabrielle, se maria avec M. Jean-Louis de Gumpertz de Gusten, de Vernoux, en 1798. La deuxième fille se maria, en 1799, avec M. Jacques-Joseph-Régis Blanc, baron de Molines, originaire de Molinès, commune de Borée, canton de Saint-Martin-de-Valamas. ...
