Nobility crown González De AguilarLa familia de este apellido entronca con la Casa de Nava en Canarias, por matrimonio que celebró en segundas nupcias Don Alonso de Nava Grimón y Alvarado-Bracamonte, III del nombre, hijo único varón del Marqués Don Tomás, nacido en La Laguna de Tenerife, el 6 de octubre de 1655, con Doña Catalina de Aguilar Ponce de León y Guzmán, el día 7 de septiembre de 1687, en dicha ciudad de La Laguna. Doña Catalina de A. era hija de Don Pedro de A. Ponce de León y Tamariz de la Escalera, Corregidor y Capitán a Guerra de Tenerife y La Palma y de su mujer Doña Catalina de Guzmán Escobar y Tejada. Este apellido llegó a extinguirse por línea femenina. Su más lejano antecesor fué Don Gonzalo Yáñez Dovinal, nieto de Don Egas Gómez, del que descienden los A. y bisnieto del Conde Don Gueda Bello "el Viejo". El padre de Don Gonzalo, Juan Gómez de Obiñal, ricohome de Portugal, casó con Doña María Pérez de A. y este Don Gonzalo, su primogénito, pasó a España acompañado al Rey Don Fernando III el Santo, en la conquista de Sevilla, alcanzando también la dignidad de ricohome. Hijo de Don Gonzalo fue Don Gonzalo Yáñez de A., Ricohombre de Castilla, segundo Señor de A., por el que sigue ya la línea de esta ilustre Casa en España. Existe otra familia A. que enlazó repetidamente con la Casa Muxica-Lazcano en Gran Canaria. ...
