Nobility crown GranitoFamiglia originaria di Salerno, nota sin dalla prima metà del secolo XIV, avendosi notizia di un Riccardo, giudice introno a quel tempo di detta città. Godette nobiltà a Salerno al Seggio di Campo ed a Lucera, ove un ramo di detta famiglia fu portato da un Antonio nel 1535. Paride fu infeudato di Castellabate (Principato Citra) nel 1733. Con real privilegio 29 nov. 1745 ottenne il titolo di marchese, infisso su detta terra. A Paride successe il figlio Luigi, ed a questi Angelo, che venne iscritto con l'anzidetto titolo nel registro Piazze Chiuse del Regno. Morto Angelo senza discendenza, il titolo passò al fratello Gioacchino, consigliere del Sacro Regio Consiglio, poi, vice presidente della Suprema Corte di Giustizia nel 1815. Gioacchino ebbe Angelo (n. 1812, dec. 1861), che fu sopraintendente generale degli archivi del Regno, presidente della commissione dei titoli di Nobiltà, autore, fra l'altro, d'una monografia sulla congiura ...
