Nobility crown GuerryCette famille existait en Vivarais en 1450 et possédait la seigneurie de Prost. Pierre Faret, baron de Saint- Privat, le premier de sa famille suivant Ménard, qui ait pris le nom de Fournès, d'un fief situé dans le diocèse d'Uzès, lieutenant du sénéchal de Beaucaire et Nîmes, épousa, le 16 mai 1590, Sarah Guéri. Avant 1540 vivait noble Claude Guerr, sieur de Prost, en la paroisse de Félines. Il avait épousé Louise de Ruissas et en eut un fils, Pierre Guerry, connu sous le nom de "Capitaine Prost", lequel commanda à Annonay au début des guerres de religion. La famille de ce Guerry, dit du Solier, existe encore, encore, mais leur noblesse est totalement inconnue. Ils portent le nom de Guerry de Combalas et ont peu de biens. Un acte du juin 1567, reçu Arrapa, notaire, enregistre une cession faite par Pierre Guerry, qui se titre "seigneur de Prost et de Fornes. Sarah Guerry, qui épousa, le 16 mai 1590, Pierre Faret, baron de Saint-Privat, lequel prit le premier le nom de Fournès, fief tsitué au diocèse d'Uzès, est donc, selon toute vraisemblance, la fille du capitaine protestant. ...
