En ese lugar existía el Palacio, que entre otros muchos derechos y honores tenía el Patronato de su iglesia parroquial. Está el pueblo situado en la parte más alta de la cordillera de las Outedas, con sus aguas vertientes al valle de Arango y limítrofe con el Coto de Villavaler, donde también tuvieron casa. Una rama de esta familia se estableció y creó nuevo solar en la feligresía de Naveces, del Concejo de Castrillón, morando también sus individios en Castrillón, Avilés, San Juan del Monte y Madrid. Otra radicó en la feligresía de San Martín de Laspra, que pertenece igualmente al Concejo de Castrillón y partido judicial de Avilés. Y otra en la feligresía de Santa Eulalia de Dorigas, del Concejo de Salas. Entre los anitguos e ilusres varones de este linaje aparecen Rui Gómez de I. y Juan Oto González de I., nobles hidalgos, y este último valeroso Capitán en la conquista de Toledo.
