De la casa de la villa de Oñate, fué Martín I., natural de Oñate, esposo de doña María de Olandaeta, de igual naturaleza, y ambos padres de Pedro I. y Olandaeta, natural de Oñate, que casó con doña Catalina Licarralde, de la misma naturaleza (hija de Francisco Licarralde y de doña Mariana Velanzategui, ambos de Oñate), naciendo de esa unión Martín I. y Licarralde, natural de Oñate, que en 1640 vistió el hábito de Santiago. Bernardo de Ipinza, español, pasó a Santiago de Chile en los comienzos del siglo pasado y allí casó con doña Juana Calvo León (hija de Bartolomé Calvo y León, español, y de doña Catalina Villavicencio, natural de Santiago). Fué su hija Micaela de Ipinza y Calvo León, mujer de Miguel Grez y Fuensalida.
