Giovanni Battista il 6 marzo 1792 "per i suoi grandi meriti militari" fu creato Conte palatino da Papa Pio VI, con tutti i suoi discendenti maschi. Il 6 giugno 1792 fu aggregato con tutta la famiglia alla nobiltà di Camerino. La Consulta Araldica dichiarò spettare a questa famiglia i titoli di conte Palatino Pontificio (m) e Nobile di Camerino (mf). La famiglia è così stata rappresentata: Enrico, n. 29 maggio 1878 dal conte Guido (1850-1919), di Nicola, di Antonio di Nicola, di Giov. Batta, e contessa Teresa Frisciotti Bernardini (1852-1892).
