Branche au XVIIIème siècle, à Brioude, convoquée en 1789 à l'assemblèe de la noblesse d'Auvergne. François-Martin, écuyer, seigneur du Monteil, porte-étendard des gendarmes Ecossais, maistre de camp de cavalerie, chevalier de St-Louis, s'allia dans cette ville à Françoise Alluys. Leur flis Guillaume chevalier, seigneur du Monteil, né en 1757, capitaine au régiment royal de Picardie-Cavalerie, gendarme dans la compagnie de la Reine (1772), mourut sans alliance. François-Alexandre marié à Sophie de Vergése laissa: Martial-Jacques, marié à Antoinette Jeanne Isidore de Damas. Ce dernier avait acheté des la Rochefoucauld Langeac, de grands biens près la Vaudieu et Brioude, qui lui furent confisqués pendant l'émigration. ...
