Maria Ferreira, que, em 1492, viviam em Leomil, antepassados de José-Bernardo Machado Ferreira, senhor da casa de S. Domingos de Sarzedo, no concelho de Moimenta da Beira, que casou com D. Ana-Joaquina de Lemos e Nápoles (filha de Manuel de Lemos e Nápoles, capitão-mór de Penaverde, em Trancoso, administrador do vínculo de Sarzedo, fidalgo cavaleiro da C. R. (alvará de 1708), familiar do Santo Ofício, etc., e de sua mulher D. Maria-Angélica pinto de Sousa Cabral), de quem teve, entre outros filhos, a: Luís-José Machado Ferreira, fidalgo cavaleiro da C.R., administrador do vínculo de S. Domingos de Sarzedo, capitão-mór do concelho de Leomil (1749), cavaleiro da o. de Cristo e fidalgo de cota de armas (c. de 23.12.1742), etc., casado com D. Maria-Teresa de Miranda, senhora da casa de Farejinhas. De ambos foi bisneto, por legítima varonia, José de Nápoles M. Ferreira de Castro e Miranda, sucessor, fidalgo cavaleiro da C.R., que casou com sua parenta D. Maria de Menezes Pita e Lemos, a qual, por morte, de seu único irmão Diogo de Lemos de Nápoles (f. s. g.), herdou a casa de seus pais José de Lemos e Nápoles e D. Rosa Pita de Menezes, da casa dos Pitas de Caminha. D. Maria de Menezes Pita e Lemos, era bisneta, por legítima varonia, e representante, dos acima mencionados Manuel de Lemos e Nápoles. ...
