Possedette questa Casa metà del feudo di Morcone donata a Simone Marco, nel 1275, da Carlo I d'Angiò; e, in Terra d'Otranto, i feudi di Mauritano e Cognano e i Casali di S. Cassiano, Lequile, Casamassella e Vaste. Essa si imparentò coi Palmieri, Bianchi-Dottola, Basalù, Berarducci-Vives, della Gatta, Personè, Lubelli, De Ildaris, Pardo, Saraceno, Leonardi e con altri. Fu suo il Palazzo Adorno, nell'attuale Via della Prefettura, poi passato ai Personè. Francesco Antonio fu Vescovo di Castro nel 1437 e morì nel 1451. Francesco Antonio, secondo di questo nome, fu anche Vescovo di Castro a 5 marzo 1666 e morì nel 1681. Marco Antonio fu Vescovo di Viesti, ed indi, nel 1717, Arcivescovo di Manfredonia.
