On trouve: Astorg qui donne en 1050, les églises de St-Mamet et de St-Jean à l'abbaye de Conques; Gilbert chevalier, témoin de Géraud de Fontanges dans un duel judiciaire en 1078; Guillaume chevalier, bailli de la vicomté de Carlat (1285); Gilbert III qui rendit hommage au vicomte de Carlat, (1355); Guillaume, bailli de la Haute-Auvergne (1360); Avit et Antoine, chanoines-comtes de Brioude (1370); Jeanne mariée vers 1380, à Hugues de Chálus, fils de Robert et d'Eduse d'Alégre; Robert écuyer, allié en 1371 à Jeanne de la Roche de Digons; Georges, vassal de Vodable, inscrit en 1450 et 1470 dans les armoriaux manuscrits d'Auvergne; Reymond et Jean abbés de Mauzat prés Riom, bienfaiteurs de cette abbaye, où l'on voit leurs armes sculptées (1459-1507). Fixée en Velay avec Jean (fils de Guy et de Catherine de Chaslard, marié le 17 février 1522 à Claire de Glavenas, laquelle, à la suite d'un traité passé le 17 février 1532, entre elle et ses sœurs, dans la ville d'Issoire, retint la baronnie diocèsaine de Lardeyrol. Veuve dès 1566, Claire testa le 15 mars 1573. Dans cet acte, elle nomme ses filles: 1° Antoinette femme de Gaspard de Roquelaure écuyer, seigneur de Laval et de Marcenat; 2° Garielle femme de François de Vergezac; 3° Madeleine, qui avait, épousé en premières noces, le 5 mai 1545, Jean de Louet, baron de Calvisson et en deuxièmes noces le 22 juin 1564, Antoine de Vertolaye écuyer, seigneur d'Ebde et d'Arsac; 4° Jeanne (sa fille aînée qu'elle institue son héritière universelle), mariée le 28 mai 1564 à François II de Polignac d'Adiac, auquel elle apporta la baronnie de Lardeyrol et autres terres. ...
