Nobility crown MialheOn trouve le nom de cette maison diversement écrit Mialhet ou Milhet. Noblesse vellave, maintenue en Languedoc (1670), sur preuves remontant à Antoine Mialhet, seigneur de Donaze, marié le 10 janvier 1531 à Jeanne de la Rodde. Jean Mialhet ou Milhet, seigneur de Costaros, Tressac et Cussac, fut tué à Polignac (1594) par les ligueurs. Louis, seigneur de la Borie et de Donaze, allié le 24 juin 1651, aux ban et arrière-ban de la sénéchaussée du Puy. Pierre, écuyer, seigneur de la Borie et de Donaze, fit inscrire en 16969 ses armoiries dans d'Hozier. Antoine Milhet, seigneur de la Borie, fut porteur de la procuration du baron de andeyrol pour le représenter aux Etats du Velay de 1727. Raymond, fils de Charles, écuyer, seigneur de Costaros et de Chadernac, marié à Gabrielle de Bérard de la Beaume, laissa: Claudine , dame de Costaros, mariéé le 10 octobre 1754, à Denis de Colin des Roys, écuyer, seigneur de la Sauvetat et des Roys, au Brignon. Convoquée en 1789 aux assemblées de la noblesse du Velay. Trois membres de cette famille, tous trois chanoines de N.-D. du Puy, sont portés sur la liste des émigrés de la Haute-Loire. La branche des Milhet de Costaros a été substituée par alliance, en 1682, à un rameau des Gayffier de Bessettes et a relevé le nom de Bessettes. ...
