Nobility crown MicheleauTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Thomas, et Jeanne le Cordier, vivants en 1380 père et mère de Jean, auteur de la branche de Monthuchon, à laquelle appartenaient: Jean, général de Chartreux, mort en 1599 et Charles, gentilhomme de la chambre et conseiller aux aides de Rouen en 1614; Roger puîné, lieutenant du capitaine de Chartres, partagé en 1388, père de Colin, qui combattit à Azincourt en 1415, auteur de la branche d'Haccouville. On trouve encore Fiacre Michel et Coline sa femme, maintenus dans leurs héritages en Cotentin par mandement d'Henri V d'Angleterre en 1419. La branche de Cambernon a produit un page du Roi en 1727; la branche de Monthuchon s'est alliée depuis 1731 aux Tuffin, Bonnescuelle, Derval, Saint-Meleuc et Pinczon. Autre branche: Yvon, vivant en 1503, épouse Jeanne de Launay, dont: Hervé, marié à Marie Heussaff une fille à Saint-Cyr en 1706. Fondu dans du Poulpry. Les seigneurs de Kerprigent et de Kerhorre, paroisse de Ploëzal, du nom de Michel, déboutés en 1668, ressort de Lannion, alliés auxz Bouloing, Sioc'han, Boudin, du Vergier, Miollis, Audren et Ferré, ont produit un baron de l'empire en 1811, avec institution de majorat sur la terre de Kerrom, confirmé sous la Restauration en 1817. Autre branche: Guillaume, échanson de Catherine de Luxembourg, troisième femme du duc Artur III, mort en 1458, frère juveigneur de Jean, seigneur de Bossacoulart et de la Noë; Louis, procureur syndic des États de la Ligue à Vannes en 1592; Jean, seigneur de Grilleau, échevin de Nantes en 1710; deux secrétaires du Roi en 1732 et 1747; un capitaine aux dragons de Monsieur en 1788. Cette famille alliée depuis 1762 aux ducs de Lévis et de Bésiade d'Avaray, a produit un maréchal de camp, mort en 1835. ...
