Nobility crown MicoleauFamille consulaire du Puy, citée dès 1455. Elle remonte sa filiation á Mathieu «hôte et chandelier du Puy», marié en 1470 à Jeanne Johanny. Divisée au XVIème siècle en cinq branches. Clau devint cinquième consul de cette ville (1610) et quatrième consul (1622). Jacques, marchand, était quatrième consul en 1640 autre Jacques quatrième consul en 1663, puis deuxième en 1669, vivait encore en 1676. Il fut père de Pierre qualifié bourgeois et troisième consul en 1700, marié à Gabrielle Pascal, dont le fils Ignace-Pascal surnommé Mylord, anobli par la charge de capitoul de Toulouse, devint deux fois premier consul du Puy (1723-1724), conseiller du roi, receveur des tailles du diocèse (1721) et contribua largement en 1737 à la construction de la chapelle de St-Frangois Régis dans l'église du Collège. Cet Ignace Pascal avait acquis le 9 Octobre 1731 d'lgnace de Montboissier Beaufort Canillac baron de Cusse, seigneur de Chassaigne, etc. et de Pierre-Charles son fils, au prix de 66.000 livres, la baronnie de Lardeyrol, l'une des dix-huit baronnies diocèsaines, mais il ne put toutefois être admis à prendre séance aux États du Velay, sa qualité récente d'anobli ne lui permettant pas de faire la preuve de plusieurs degrés qui était requise. Il avait épousé Marie Bertrand, d'oú, entre autres enfants: 1° Aimé-Hiláire qui continua la lignée; 2° Bertrand; 3° Armand; 4° Augustin-Vosy de Lardeyrol, major au régiment de Septimanie, chevalier de St-Louis, lequel s'allia à Louise Jourda de Vaux, sœur du maréchal. Le fils aîné d'Hilaire: Ignace Bertrand-Benoit, écuyer, qualifié en 1751 baron de Lardeyrol, de Boubas, etc., succéda à son aïeul décédé en 1750, mais sans pouvoir, comme lui, assister aux assemblées des Etats du Velay. Autre personnages illustres de cette famille: des chanoines de Notre Dame du Puy et de St-Georges de St-Paulien; un syndic du chapitre (1733-1747); des religieux bénédictins, l'un d'eux porté sur la liste des émigrés de la Haute-Loire; un maire alternatif et un capitaine général de la ville du Puy au XVIIIème siècle; un contrôleur des tailles du diocèse (1722). ...
