Nobility crown MirambellPrivativas del linaje de M., radicado en Costa Rica, y una de cuyas líneas descendientes contemporáneas está representada por don Francisco M. y Solís, vecino de San José de Costa Rica. Por referencias de historiadores de la época y otras averiguadas por Araldis en los archivos registrales de ciudades y otros privados, podríamos afirmar, pero no asegurar, que este escudo u otro muy similar a él, apareció inicialmente desde el siglo XI al XIV, particularmente en la construcción de la casa y la iglesia de Roncesvalles, participando en las obras sufragadas por Sancho el Fuerte de Navarra. Las referencias de esta familia parecen precisarse con más frecuencia desde el siglo XV al XIX en especial los hechos de el descubrimiento de las islas Marquesas (Océano Pacífico), siendo uno de los oficiales al servicio de Don Alvaro de Mendaña, Adelantado del mar Océano. Todo ello parece coincidir con la memoria familiar de algunos de los miembros de la rama de la familia Mirambell. Son sus armas: En gules, seis cabezas de dragantes, puestas en dos palos, de a tres, de oro. El estudio del escudo heráldico familiar nos "habla" de quienes formaron el origen de la familia M., pues esa era su función, la de manifestar a los demás sus elementos diferenciales, pues la inclusión del elemento palo es la característica de los nobles de origen militar, (Palos) quiere aparentar los palos del "castrum" (campamento). Los esmaltes del arma de los M. pregonan los siguientes valores: el Gules es el símbolo de la fuerza, del poder, del amor ferviente a Dios y al prójimo, tal es el significado de este esmalte, a lo que habría que añadir el afán de dominio, el coraje, la audacia, la fortaleza y la magnanimidad, un alto porcentaje de este tipo de escudos familiares se dieron por actos de guerra. ...
