Nel 1220 un Petrus fu padre del Comune in Alessandria della Paglia; nel 1221 padre Guglielmo proposito di S.Marco a Tortona. La famiglia si stabilì poi a Novi Ligure, ove, come appare da un decreto del Duca di Milano, un Tomaso era membro del Consiglio del comune nel 1419.
