On trouve, en 1096-1101, Pierre, témoin de la donation faite par Guillaume de Baffie, évêque de Clermont, au monastère de Sauxillanges; le 25 mars 1128, Pierre qui appose son sceau à la donation de l'église de St-Martin de Polignac, consentie par Humbert d'Albon, évêque du Puy, à l'abbé de Pébrac; le 11 octobre 1136, Pierre, témoin d'une cession faite par Guy de Malaval à la collégiale de St-Georges du Puy; en 1173 et 1175, Hugues, témoin dans divers actes intéressant les hospitaliers de St-Jean de Jérusalem du Velay; en 1179, Hugues, Dalmace, Eustache et Pons, coseigneurs de Montravel, possessionnés dans la paroisse de Sauvessanges, qui transigent avec Pierre de Servissas, prieur de Chamalières; en 1191, Pierre, témoin de la donation faite par Maurice d'Issandolanges, chanoine de N.-D. du Puy, à la collégiale de St-Georges; en 1210, Goiet, chanoine de N.-D. du Puy. Nombreux autres chanoines dont Guillaume, prévôt de ce chapitre de 1283 à 1298. ...
