Nobility crown MorillasTuvo casa solar en el lugar de Morillas (cuyo nombre tomó), del Ayuntamiento de Subijana y partido judicial de Vitoria (Álava). Desde muy antiguo radicó una rama de esta familia en Baeza, a cuya conquista habían asistido sus progenitores. Entroncó con los Cáceres, apellidándose M.-Cáceres. Una de sus principales líneas moró en la villa de Morón (Córdoba), y allí enlazó con los Navarrete, Mérida, Márquez, León y otros linajes de Andalucía. Otra rama de mucho lustre residió en la Corte, y a ella perteneció Pedro de M. Osorio, Gentilhombre de la Casa de Felipe II, que casó con doña Catalina de Luján y Vargas (hermana de Jerónimo de Luján, Caballero de la Orden de Santiago y Gobernador de Alejandría de la Palla, en Italia). Fueron padres de Luis de M. Osorio y Luján, Gentilhombre de la Casa Real y poseedor del mayorazgo de Bayona, que contrajo matrimonio en 1600 con doña Antonia de Solís Manrique y Peralta (hija de Francisco de Solís Manrique y de su segunda mujer, doña Catalina de Peralta). Dicha señora heredó un considerable mayorazgo, que el 4 de Septiembre de 1598, ante Juan de la Cortera, Escribano de número de Madrid, fundó a favor suyo doña Luisa de Peralta, hermana de su madre. Fué hija suya María de M. Osori y Solís Manrique, Señora de los mayorazgos de Bayona y de Villaverde, que en el año de 1618 celebró su enlace con Fernando Guillamas, Señor del mayorazgo de su casa en Ávila (hijo de Pedro Guillamas y de doña María del Aguila y del Peso). ...
