Nobility crown MotetAntique chevaleire diversement mentionné Motet, Motetz et Motez. Aldebert Motetz est temoin en 1160, de la donation faite de Pons Humbert à l'hôpital de St-Jean de la Chevalerie du Puy: Pierre et Guigon Motetz assistent comme témoins à une donation faite aux Templiers du Puy sur le territoire de Chantoin. Hugues et Pons furent cautions, le 4 février 1215, d'une autre donation consentie aux Templiers du Puy, par dame Flocha de Mirmande femme de Beraud de Cordes, pour l'admission de son fils Pierre dans la milice du Temple. Guillaume Motet est caution, le mercredi après la Purification de l'an 1257, d'une vente faite par Pierre et Guillaume Bertrand du Fayet frères, à Odon de Gavaret, fils, chevalier, de tout ce qu'ils avaient dans le ténement de St-Didier. Pons Motet est cité dans un hommage de 1313. Savine de St-Cristophe, fille de Pons damoiseau et veuve de noble Pons Clari de Ceyssac damoiseau, testa le 21 septembre 1322. Noble Pierre seigneur de St-Christophe fut père entre autres enfants de deux filles : I° de Marguerite Motet de St-Christophe marié le 3 février 1343 à Guy dit Guigon de la Rodde, fils de feu de Jean seigneur de Sénejouls; 2° de Valérie de St-Christophe marié le 6 octobre 1347 à Pons Bernard de Ceyssac, père de noble Pierre Bernard seigneur de Ceyssac. Guillaume rend hommage en 1343, à cause de sa femme, à l'évêque du Puy, de son fief de la bastide au mandement de Bonnas. ...
