En la iglesia parroquial de Cueto se encuentran numerosas partidas de bautismo, con las que se ha logrado formar la siguiente genealogía: Francisco M., natural del lugar de Cueto, contrajo matrimonio con doña María Diego y fueron padres de Francisco M. Diego, nacido en 1633, que casó con doña Antonia Herrera y Helguera, nacida en 1634, a la que hizo madre de Francisco M. y Herrera, nacido en 1662 y casado con doña María Alonso Palacio, nacida en 1663, de la que tuvo a Francisco M. Alonso, nacido en 1684, que celebró su enlace con doña Josefa Maliaño Pereda, nacida en el mismo año. Procrearon a Manuel M. Maliaño, nacido en 1715, que se unió en matrimonio con doña María García Rumayor, y de este enlace nació Manuel M. García, nacido en 1748, que tuvo por esposa a doña Francisca Diego M., nacida en el mismo año, en la que procreó a Domingo Morales Diego, nacido en 1777 y casado con doña Josefa Díaz Alonso, que vió la luz en el mismo año.
