Nobility crown OldoinoDa Cremona venne a Genova nel 1424. Antonio Oldoini quale luogotenente del conte Francesco Carmagnola, governatore della città. Un Giovanni Battista si trasferì a Pontremotoli, a Brugnato e finalmente alla Spezia; quì stabilì sua dimora la famiglia Oldoini, detta anche dei Dozzoli (v. Della Cella), mantenendo però strette relazioni con Genova, ove vissero molti suoi membri ed ove fu ascritta alla nobiltà nel 1528 nell'albero De Fornari. Agostino Oldoini, gesuita, fu uomo di straordinaria ereduzione e capacità, che stampò in Roma nel 1637 le "Additiones ad Ciacconum de vitis Ponteficum" ricordate dal Tiraboschi. Così Bernardo, suo fratello, che scrisse la seconda parte delle storie del mondo come continuazione dell'opera del padre Torsellino. Nel 1740 un padre Oldoini era generale dei Teatini.
