Passata in Sicilia in persona di un Giovan Stefano, che nel 1656 acquistò la baronia di Sperlinga, con privilegio dato a 2 aprile esecutoriato a 20 luglio 1658, ottenne il titolo di marchese di S. Niccolò de laureato; con privilegio dato a 30 aprile 1666, esecutoriato a 22 giugno 1667, ottenne il titolo di duca di S.Silvestro, che con lettere patrimoniali del 30 giugno 1667, venne imposto su Sperlinga, ottenne a 13 maggio 1662 il mero e misto imperio su Sperlinga; acquistò dai coniugi Giuseppe e Maria Lanza, principi di S.Stefano i feudi di Vescara e di Cicera e ne ebbe investitura a 23 giugno 1674, acquistò la baronia di Carruba e ne fu investito a 20 maggio 1678, la baronia di S.
