Bartolo Orr, intervenne, tra ai rappresentanti del Comune, al trattato di pace tra Eleonora d'Arborea ed il re Giovanni d'Aragona, stipulato il 24 gennaio 1388. Matteo Orr, con diploma in data 7 giugno 1738 di Carlo Emanuele III, re di Sardegna, ottenne il titolo del cavalierato ereditario e l'uso delle armi gentilizie.
