Furono gonfalonieri di giustizia di patria Ventura di Jacopo nel 1542; Ruffino di lui figlio nel 1562 e Pier-Maria di Ventura di Ruffino nel 1616, e furono priori ed ufficiali di guerra Toniolo di Iacopo nel 1519, Lorenzio di Fiorentino nel 1556, e Matteo di un altro Fiorentino nel 1646. Francesco-Antonio Papiani, governatore per la S. Sede di Forlimpopoli, di Longiano, di Forlì e di Cesena, fu creato insieme al figlio Gioacchino conte palatino e cavaliere aurato il 25 maggio 1733.
