En los libros de su Archivo figura Fernán Sánchez de la P., que en el año de 1415 fué exceptuado, juntamente con otros muchos hijosdalgo de cada parroquia, de pagar cierto pecho que impuso a los clérigos conjugados el Obispo don Fernando de Pedrosa, continuando siempre en posesión de esa prerrogativa. Dicho Fernán Sánchez de la P. es el primero de su linaje que aparece radicado en la ciudad de Murcia. Descendiente suyo fué Juan de la P., que en su mujer, doña Constanza de Pinella, tuvo a Martín de la P., que sigue, y Constanza de la P., esposa del Capitán Pedro Bernal. Martín de la P. casó con doña Catalina Jaymes Junterón, y procrearon a Juan de la P. Jaymes, que sigue, Constanza mujer de Juan de Arróniz Riquelme, y Leonisia que celebró su enlace con Alonso de Palazol. Juan de la P. Jaymes, contrajo matrimonio con doña Catalina Martínez Galtero, naciendo de esta unión: Martín de la P. Martínez, Juan marido de doña Fresina Tomás, y Hernando que casó con doña Juana Jaymes Junterón. La sucesión de los dos últimos ya estaba extinguida en la primera decena del siglo XVII. Martín de la P. Martínez, estuvo casado con doña Jerónima Thoma, y fueron padres de Luisa de la P.
